Tax Alert: MoF decision #208/1 on deregistration of dormant entities from the commercial and civil registers

Please be informed that the Ministry of Finance (MoF) decision #208/1 dated 15^th June 2020 published in the Official Gazette #26 dated 18^th June 2020 (attached a scanned copy) has set the application principles of the Article 42 of the Law #144 (Budget Law 2019) related to the deregistration of dormant entities from the commercial and civil registers that have stopped their activities and have no assets nor employees for more than 5 years (prescription period) provided that they have no outstanding liabilities and paid all their taxes and NSSF contributions.
